Top Syracuse city school students will be automatically admitted to select SUNY schools

Students in the top 10% of Syracuse city high schools will be automatically admitted to at least one of nine State University of New York campuses for the 2025-2026 school year.
The Syracuse City School District is one of 68 districts participating in SUNY’s new 10% Percent Promise program, which will automatically admit top students from high schools across the state to a SUNY campus. Students could be admitted to the Universities at Albany and Buffalo; SUNY ESF, Geneseo, New Paltz, Oneonta and Polytechnic Institute; Purchase College and Stony Brook University.
